当代音乐节, October 25-27

The 57th Annual 当代音乐节 took place on October 25-27 and featured three-time Grammy nominated American composer Miguel del Aguila, guest 英语 Horn soloist Leonid Sirotkin, and Chicago-based guest chamber ensemble Picosa. Del Aguila's music has been hailed as “brilliant and witty” (New York Times), “sonically dazzling” (LATimes) and “expressive and dramatic” (American Record Guide) and his works combine drama, driving rhythms and nostalgic nods to his South American roots. Dr. 埃里克•斯科特 Appointed Director of Bands

The 音乐学院 is proud to announce Dr. 埃里克•斯科特 担任乐队总监. Dr. Scott holds a Doctorate in Wind Conducting from Northwestern University, a Master’s in Wind Conducting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, and a Bachelor of 音乐 Education from Middle Tennessee State University.
