转移的指导方针 and Plans

Indiana State University may accept credit from accredited colleges and universities within the United States, and from selected schools located outside the United States. Credit also may be granted for military training and experience.

General Guidelines on Credit Transfer

• Credit earned from accredited colleges and universities is transferable.  看到 政策库 供参考.  
• Transfer credit is assigned only for courses at the 100 level (or above) in which you have earned a grade of "C-" or higher.
• Generally, an equivalent number of credit hours are given.
• Remedial, audited, or non-credit courses do not transfer. This may include courses that apply credit towards graduation at the source 机构 if they are determined to be equivalent to remedial courses at ISU.
• 大学生活, 取向, and study classes will transfer for credit if they received credit towards graduation at the source 机构.
• 在某些情况下, credit may be transferable to the University and count toward graduation, but may not be applied toward the completion of your intended major.
• As much as 90 credit hours of total transfer credit will be accepted for transfer into a bachelor's 学位 program; at least 30 credit hours must be completed through ISU to earn the bachelor's 学位.
• Your grades (GPA) do not transfer.
• If you transfer a bachelor's 学位 from a regionally accredited U.S. 机构, all of the University's 基金会al Studies/General Education requirements will be waived.
• Credit may be granted for military training and experience per these 的指导方针.
• 2022年秋季生效, courses that are transferred into Indiana State University that are earned at the lower division level can only be awarded at the level that the credit was earned by the student. A lower division transfer course can equate to an Indiana State University upper division course content and clear a course requirement but cannot be awarded upper division credit for 学位 completion.

NOTE:  These are general 的指导方针. 在入学, advisors will review your transcripts and determine which credit transfers and which courses will be included in your program of study.

General Education Core 转移

If you successfully complete the Indiana College Core (国际刑事法庭) at an Indiana public 机构 of higher education, you can transfer that coursework as a block of 30 credit hours towards completion of 基金会al Studies requirements at Indiana State University.

Associate Degrees Waivers

If you have earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), 或者一个ssociate of Applied Science (A.A.S.)学位, you will be granted a waiver that applies to several of ISU’s 基金会al Studies/General Education requirements..

ISU offers two distinct waivers: one awarded to students who have earned an A.A. 或者是A.S. 学位, and another awarded to students who have earned an A.A.S. 学位. Associate 学位s with titles other than these will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
